Broken River Sleep Ski


What should I bring?

  • Glove protectors to protect your ski gloves on the rope tows (can purchase on the mountain at the Ticket Office or Palmer Lodge).
  • Slippers/inside footwear for the lodge
  • Personal toiletries
  • Head torch for emergencies
  • Sleeping bag, pillow case & towel (or hire linen when you book)
  • Small day pack to carry spare warm clothes up to the field for your days skiing
  • Lunch supplies: BBQ and kitchen facilities (oven, microwave, toasted sandwich machines) are available for use at Palmer Lodge on the field. Pizza, pies, drinks & snacks can be purchased at Palmer Lodge canteen.
  • Beer, wine & cider can be purchased on the field at Palmer Lodge.
  • For Catered guests: we sell beer, wine & cider at Lyndon Lodge.  

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

Yes vegan, vegetarian or other special dietary options available by arrangement. Let us know when you book your accommodation or package.

What if I need a break from the snow?

Curl up in the lodge with a good book or take a walk on one of the many two-hour forest walks down in the Broken River valley.

Is there Wifi?

Wifi is not available for our guests. We do have cell phone reception on the field and at the accommodation lodges.

Can we book out a lodge?

Accommodation cancellation & refund policy

Refunds on cancellation of booked and confirmed accommodation and accommodation/lift packages are as follows:

  1. When an accommodation or accommodation/ski package is cancelled by the Broken River Ski Club (BRSC), a full refund will be given minus an non-refundable administration fee of $20.00.
  2. If your travel to BR is restricted due to governmental COVID travel restrictions then you would be provided a full credit to be applied in the next 18 months.
  3. When an accommodation or accommodation/ski package is cancelled by guests an administration fee and cancellation fees will be applied as set out in this Policy below.
  4. Any refund payable will be paid by the BRSC Treasurer and may not be paid by the ski area or by ski area staff. 
  5. An administration fee of $50 (or the amount of the applicable refund if less than $50) will be deducted from the amount of any refund payable. 
  6. Cancellation fees & refunds upon cancellation of a booking apply as follows:

  • Cancellation 28 days or more prior to the commencement date of booking: 90% refund less administration fee. 
  • Cancellation between 27 days and 11 days prior to commencement date of booking: 50% refund less administration fee. 
  • Cancellation within 10 days of commencement date of booking, or during the period of the booking: no refund will be given.

These conditions apply to all bookings, for BRSC members and non-members.
The BRSC Committee reserves the right to reduce or waive cancellation fees in exceptional circumstances in its discretion.
