Telemark Week

Join our highly successful Telemark Week when freeheelers flock in from far and wide for a fun time, some great turns and to touch up on technique.

Our BR Telemark instructors are available for group & private lessons all week. Lessons help you confidently ski in a variety of conditions and terrain. The Catered Wicked Weeker package includes three lessons. Standard lessons rates apply for day visitors & shorter packages.

Everyone is welcome, whether you're a seasoned freeheeler or keen to give it a try. We have some telemark gear (skis and boots) for hire - please email Claire.

It's all about fun and freeing the heel. Be sure to bring your favourite tipple & some snacks for sunset drinks on the ridge. Dig out that informal, funky attire for the Thursday night fancy dress party - it's always a blast!

Telemark Off-Piste Skills Course

This year we're offering beginner, intermediate and advanced-level courses! Gain confidence and skills skiing off-piste conditions at all ski abilities. These three-day course will improve your versatility to handle the unexpected, and ability to ski with ease and efficiency in challenging conditions. It's the equivalent of having a personal trainer for three days! Dates: 26-28 August 2026.

Black Diamond Freeheel Fun Weekend

Join us for for our annual Freeheel Fun weekend for a fun events, socialising and clinics. This event draws in telemarkers from far afield and is a great chance to get together with other freeheeling fanatics.

Fun Day August 29th

Fun events throughout the day on Saturday with spot prizes, thanks to Black Diamond. Our fun ski events are open to all telemark abilities. Please register on field at Palmer Lodge, 10-11am, on the day. We may also run some beginner clinics  of Saturday if there is enough interest. We  have a limited amount of telemark gear available if you're keen to give telemarking a try. 

We'll also have demo gear for freeheelers and alpine skiers/tourers to try!

Sunday Tele Clinics August 30th

Telemark Clinics

We offer telemark private and group clinics by arrangement for all abilities. We have a limited pool of telemark skis and boots if you're keen to give it a try. Our telemark instructors are available upon request most weekends and Claire is available mid-week. Advanced booking is required. We do offer telemark lessons daily during the Telemark Week.
